When big organisations need to procure large numbers of employees for projects, the hiring process that followed used to be fairly manual, expensive, time-consuming and consequently, inefficient. Recruitment needed to be re-imagined, and we worked with a client leading that change - Hiring Market. They are an AI-enabled recruitment platform that helps thousands of employers get in touch with recruitment partners to procure quality talent in large numbers according to their custom requirements. Their smart AI/ML algorithms make hiring 4x faster, more transparent, and efficient. Thus, Hiring Market & their algorithms become an obvious smart choice for organisations and recruiters alike. Their comprehensive process is assuredly ‘Hiring Made Smarter’; which became the brand’s very apt positioning as well.
Once we defined this as a core parameter, the brand’s visual identity started to come to life. We looked to an industry truth - connections. Forming and maintaining connections between organisations and recruitment partners was at the heart of the entire process. And what represents connections better than a handshake? This idea, along with the titular ‘H’ formed Hiring Market’s logo - a handshake represented in an abstract, imaginative form. In addition to connections, we also tried to incorporate the angle of technology into the logo through the form of a signal or a pulse.
Our colour choices were a cobalt blue and crisp white - colours that evoked professionalism and trust. Shades of light blue & pops of neon green were also used to represent technology and innovation, as well as to provide some balance and contrast.
To define the brand’s tonality, we looked to the ideals of corporate communication - clear, informative language interspersed with empathy and the occasional touch of wit, strictly where necessary. We carried the tonality forward to craft social media assets, templates, and content buckets catering to both recruiters as well as hiring organisations.
